About BDS

I believe your home should feel as beautiful as it is functional—thoughtfully designed to support the way you live every day. Through intentional planning, carefully considered selections, and a deep understanding of your lifestyle, I create homes that feel elevated, personal, and deeply supportive of the people who live in them.

To me, great design is about more than beautiful finishes. It’s about creating spaces that flow well, function effortlessly, and make everyday life feel easier and more enjoyable. I partner with homeowners who want a well-organized, intentional approach to remodeling and furnishing their homes—one rooted in clarity, trust, and thoughtful decision-making.

I take the lead in creating a cohesive, fully curated design plan tailored to your goals, lifestyle, and aesthetic. From layout and space planning to materials, furnishings, and finishing details, every element is thoughtfully selected on your behalf and presented as part of a complete vision—making the process feel clear, streamlined, and never overwhelming.

The result is more than a beautiful home—it’s a place to exhale. A place to gather, recharge, and create memories. A home that feels like a true reflection of who you are, thoughtfully designed to support your life now and for years to come.

Meet the Founder

It came naturally to me to plan my childhood bedrooms from a top-down view—sketching layouts like floor plans long before I knew what a floor plan was. I was drawn to order and structure, always wanting a plan to ensure everything worked before I began, yet I was equally immersed in creativity from an early age. Music, drawing, and cooking all played a role in how I expressed myself, with art supplies never far from reach and piano serving as my way to decompress after school. This balance between creativity and organization followed me throughout my education, where I consistently gravitated toward artistic and design-focused disciplines.

That passion led me to Seattle Pacific University, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2008. There, I refined my eye for color, texture, and proportion while developing a deep appreciation for thoughtful space planning. To me, design has never felt like work—it’s a lifelong practice of solving three-dimensional puzzles, determining where each element belongs, and composing a visual melody that feels both intentional and effortless.

I believe great design should feel as good as it looks. By combining an artistic eye with a methodical approach, I help clients navigate complex decisions with confidence, creating spaces that are layered, functional, and timeless—homes that support how you live while reflecting who you are.
